Larry P. Zikmund

       For the past two years it has been my privilege to represent District 14 as your Senator in the South Dakota Senate.  Previous to serving in the Senate, I served District 14 in the South Dakota House of Representatives.  My career has been devoted to working on statewide issues including economic and workforce development.   I support pro-business policies that cut red tape and allow businesses to innovate and create jobs.  Ensuring our students are equipped for the future job market is a top priority.  Assisting veterans to navigate the benefits available to them honors the service they gave as members of our military.
